Clear information about the data MoveDesk stores locally to provide its features.

Overview
MoveDesk is an offline Windows desktop application that provides general movement reminders. It is designed to provide its core functionality on your device without requiring an account or transmitting your application data.
Information MoveDesk stores
MoveDesk may store the following information locally on your device, only to provide its features:
- • Reminder interval and application settings
- • Mobility-profile preference
- • Reminder and movement history
- • Completed and skipped movement events
- • Manual and automatic pause events
- • Exercise response times
- • The last selected movement
No account or identity information
MoveDesk does not require an account and does not request your name, email address, Microsoft account credentials, payment information, or contact list.
No transmission or third-party sharing
MoveDesk does not transmit application settings, movement history, mobility preferences, or activity events to the developer or any third party. It does not include advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking technologies, third-party marketing SDKs, or cloud synchronisation.
Local inactivity detection
It checks time, not what you type.
MoveDesk checks the amount of time since the last keyboard or mouse input to determine whether you have been inactive for more than five minutes. This check is performed locally. MoveDesk does not record keystrokes, mouse positions, button contents, or the content of your input. Where needed for its history, it stores only the resulting automatic pause event.
Data storage and security
MoveDesk stores its data as a structured local file in the application-data area associated with the current Windows user. Data remains on the device and is not encrypted. Other software running with access to the same Windows account may be able to access it, so you should protect your Windows account appropriately.
Data retention and deletion
Data remains until you delete the application data, the application provides and you select a data-clearing option, or the Windows user profile is removed. Do not assume that uninstalling the application removes its history unless that behaviour has been confirmed for the release.
Internet access
MoveDesk’s current core functionality does not require an internet connection. The Microsoft Store may independently use an internet connection to install or update the application; Microsoft Store activity is governed by Microsoft’s own privacy terms.
Children
MoveDesk is a general productivity utility. It is not directed specifically at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

MoveDesk provides general movement reminders and does not provide medical advice. Choose movements appropriate to your abilities and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
Future changes
This policy will be updated before introducing any feature that transmits data, requires an account, uses cloud synchronisation, includes analytics, or otherwise changes how data is handled. A future paid MoveDesk Plus version may add features, but no currently available MoveDesk feature transmits data or is presented here as available.
